Hi everyone!
My name is Simon Pearce and I'm a director based in the UK. I wanted to take this chance to tell you all about my new film project which is a short adaptation of King's story "I Am The Doorway", from the Night Shift collection.
It's being done as part of his Dollar Baby scheme which I'm sure you're familiar with (and I realise you may have seen a lot of similar projects to this over the years!) but I wanted to invite you to take a look at and follow our social media (links below) as we start to prepare for this production.
We've been assembling a great team to bring this to life including Phil Meheux, director of photography and camera-man on films such as Casino Royale, The Mask of Zorro & Entrapment, and Illusion Industries, a special FX company who've worked on films like Blade, The Mask and Pirates of the Carribean. I'm hoping we can make this something really special for horror fans and of course fans of King - especially as this will be watched by the main man himself!
