I just recently started a blog, after some nudging from friends on social media. I've always loved writing, but I also love a lot of things... and people. Oh, and of course Stephen King is one of the people I love! That's what brought me here. We're all fans here so I'll spare the rant about how awesome he is... TOTALLY AWESOME! I actually almost quoted him on one of my blog posts, there's only three so far so it's pretty new, but then I got to thinking about him, then one thing led to another and here I am.

So far, my blog has only had nine visitors. Well, it had twenty on the day I made it, but there weren't any posts then, so as soon as I started posting, readership kinda died down a bit.

If you read it, please be nice, I'm kinda fragile about my craft and I'm certainly no Stephen King, so keep your expectations low (super-low) and I'm sure you'll be thrilled. :)

Without further adieu, here is the blog link: Harmony Wellsprings | Don't mind the mess!

I'm thinking I will be here pretty often. I have quite a few of his books to catch up on. I just finished Just After Sunset and Full Dark, No Stars. So now I'm working through 1984 by George Orwell, which I actually coincidentally downloaded while I was looking for Catcher in the Rye, but then King mentioned it in his book, making it a must read, The Yellow Wallpaper, and The Great God Pan, by Arthur Machen. After that I'm thinking Bazaar of Bad Dreams. My son is in bed and it's actually reading time now. Pleasant dreams! :D

Nice blog BTW - needs some pics though.
That is where I'm having some trouble. I heard that stealing pics from google images is a bit of a no no, not that anyone will sue, although they might, but that it's not really fair or nice to whoever took the pics, and I am probably among the world's worst photographers. There are a few photographers in my community who take some really good shots, but I wanted to see what money I have left after Christmas - I promised my son a PS4, before approaching them and seeing what they would charge me for some stuff. Soon I will have some pics. I love that bag of dicks pic! Funny! :)

I hear ya, but just give the credit for the pics if you are worried about it, its no problem.and as long as you are not getting $$ from advertisement - who cares really.

Hello and welcome to the world of blogging. I like the look of your blog, it's simple, clean and easy on the eyes. Pics would be nice at some point, you could get them from Google and give the source like Sheemiee said or try taking your own. You don't need to be a professional, few of us are anyway. Also it would be nice to see your name there. One more thing: go out there and make friends, comment on other people's blogs and some of them will return the favour. It took me about 6 months to figure things out so you probably need a bit of patience. Good luck!:encouragement:

I've written a few new posts and things seem to be taking off a bit so that's great, if anyone wants to check it out. And I found out that my birth-mother is a Stephen King fan too. We are a lot alike even though we don't even know each other and never really have. I noticed she had her own copy of Bazaar of Bad Dreams on her coffee table! We even fussed over who is a bigger fan. I won. Pretty sure I'm not the biggest fan on this site though, LOL!
