I would imagine it's not easy being married to someone with a mind like that who has been able to harness it and turn it into an epic contribution to the literary and media culture of the last half century. Genius and talent are not free, there is literally a dark side to creative people. I'm told it makes us difficult to live with. I'm by no means making a literal comparison, but I understand some of what is written between the lines of his books. Even the forwards and the afterwards sections. Or maybe I don't?:broke: Is this the wrong thread to be discussing Stephen King in? :umm: (That will go down as the silliest question ever)

Well it is mostly funny stuff or weird stuff in this particular thread (ask GNTLGNT ) as he is the one who got it going.

We do tend to stray from the topic at times in all threads - if it wasn't for the mods we would be completely disoriented!

I think we all have a dark side but it's a matter of degree as to how much of it everyone else sees. Tabby is also a writer so she'd understand that side of it, but Steve is such an easy person to get along with and is a genuinely kind and down-to-earth person and he positively adores and dotes on Tabby so I doubt she has much issue with living with him. :smile2:
