I can appreciate this one if it is humourous, but what is this only half-joking ? Is this really what people think of us as ???? A bunch of convicts ??? 226 years is a long time.....

In hindsight, having cooled down, that is actually friggin' hilarious.
Don't take it too personal. We Americans absorb many barbs from the Brits and they are good natured , funny and often kind of true.
Whenever I watch the BBC America news, the news anchor usually gets one or two sly swipes in. Even the Queen will make fun of us once in a while. We love the Brits (and the Aussies) so it's all in good fun. I'm glad you cooled down because that drawing is funny as hell. - Status
