I study the Bible Codes. The term 'the Bible Codes' means that beside the main text the Bible contains other texts in different coded forms. Inverted alphabet, numerical meanings, illustrative images, etc. Because I do it only for own amusement I use more easy method. Anagrams. And sometimes I find interesting things. But are they true? I don't know. It is possible to interpret separate words and then you must connect them by own imagination. Maybe as result you will get only fiction based on real sources. Or maybe -- real hidden secrets. Anagrams are my subjective opinion and for objectivity I need in opinions of the others also.

By means of anagrams in the Bible I have read about the sicks and invalids who were united in the society. Broken bones, amputated arms and legs, cut off ears and fingers... Some kinds of injuries were as " membership cards" and as far as possible were hidden. (So it was advised to hide stitches on the skin under tar .) One of such terrible "membership cards" was injured little finger on the left hand. The little finger or only its phalange must be cut off.

I know about secret hand signs called Triad Claw and Priestly Blessing. They are on old portraits and today's photos. Some famous persons do these signs publicly. But what about cut off little finger? The injury as secret mark? Is it possible really? I need in information...In Internet I have found only one fact about such injury.Tracy Darrell Adkins. He lost the pinky finger on his left hand in an accident while using a knife to open a bucket. But more?

And now I need in your help... Please remember did you see such mark on some art works or photos? Maybe unusual stories with the image of cut off finger?

By the way, in one SK's story cut off little finger is mentioned...And secret organization is present also... (The story "Quitters, Inc.") Casualness or SK knows much secrets? :smile2:

Van Gogh's self-portrait with bandaged ear.

It is a very interesting work... I interpreted kabbalistic liturgical poem Yedid Nefesh. The verse 2 says about lessened ear and that injured ear must be disguised. I think a medical bandage is fit in this sense also. For me it means it is necessary to study Van Gogh's friends.

As if the death of a loved one wasn't traumatic enough, the Dani people of West Papua, New Guinea also had to cut off their own fingers. This seemingly severe and incomprehensible ritual applied to any woman related to the deceased, as well as any children. The practice was done to both gratify and drive away the spirits, while also providing a way to use physical pain as an expression of sorrow and suffering. To perform the amputation, fingers were tied tightly with string and then cut off with an axe. The leftover piece was then dried and burned to ashes or stored in a special place. The ritual is now banned in New Guinea, but (as this image shows) the effects of the practice can still be seen in some of the older members of the community.

In this short text are much words which I have read between the lines... Although process of amputation is an analogous one for all cases. Pain, tied tightly... For fingers was used a razor. And I already have thought that physical pain was as an expression of sorrow also. Sorrow about lost status. It seems the society of invalids was the society of disqualified priests.

I have learned about Masonic sign named Hidden Hand. Maybe it is imitation of amputated hand?

Can you elaborate on this? Is the "hidden" hand (inside a man's tunic or jacket) significant to the Masons', perhaps a sign to other Masons that the subject of the portrait is still active within the organization? Or has accomplished something that was important to the Masons?

I know Napoleon didn't have an amputated hand.

The full name of this sign is the Sign of the Hidden Hand of the Men Of Jahbuhlun (God of masons). This sign means that a man is/was the Master of the second veil in Royal Arch Masons. (Very high degree of Freemasonry). Hidden Hand is associated with leprous hand from fourth chapter of Exodus.

Between the lines I have read about society of invalids and sicks. As sicks in the "Yedid Nefesh" (verse 4) are mentioned lepers...

This thread is not popular to my sorrow... :sorrow: But I "met" cut off phalanges of the little finger on the left hand again. In the novel "A Wild Sheep Chase" by Haruki Murakami. Well, my hunting continues...
