Dear Adminstrator

Why is stephen so infatuated with 'the oul soil' and has never come to the Emerald ISle. I have read 95% of his books and most of them he manages to get something Irish into it. off the top of my head in Cell it was u2(irish), in BOB(the wife goes to ireland for a holiday), he seems to like ireland why not come over. is it he is afraid of flying.! he would get a thousand Cead mile Failtes(irish for one hundred thousand welcomes.)

go raibh maith agat. (thank you)

I think the administrator went home already (or maybe she got the day off as yesterday was her birthday) so I hope you don't mind me trying to answer your question.

Stephen King has a Scots-Irish heritage or background so I dunno - maybe its "in his blood" as my dear Mum used to say?

and by the way - Cead mile Failtes (to you too!) :encouragement:

p.s. He is not afraid of flying, as he was on a European tour not that long ago
