Impeccable list...except for Richie Tozier. Sorry, nuh-uh, lol.The issue with the adult casting is the actors have to be pushing 40, so that narrows down the list quite a bit. Also, I'm thinking you want to cast someone who feasibly resembles the child actors.
Off the top of my head though:
James McAvoy - Bill Denbrough

Ben Hanscom - Chris Pratt

Jessica Chastain - Beverly Marsh

Orlando Jones/Chiwetel Ejiofor - Mike Hanlon

Seth Green (wouldn't it be awesome if they really did that!) - Ritchie Tozier

Michael Stuhlbarg - Stan Uris

Tobey Maguire - Eddie Kaspbrak (there was someone else I had in mind, but can't think of the actor's name right now)

She'd be perfect.I don't know anything Scoot McNairy was in so I can't say, Have you seen McAvoy in Split? He rocks the bald look.
Yeah, the suggestion for Tozier was just some fun stunt casting on my part. I don't know that many contemporary actors that I consider funny, so this one has me kinda stumped.
For Beverly, how about Chastain's less pretty but still fiery hot doppelgänger, Bryce Dallas Howard?

No, not yet. Despite critics being "split" (say sorry) I still want to see it.Have you seen McAvoy in Split?

When I read the thread title, for some reason I thought they were casting a new movie, an "Adult" version of IT..you think the original was creepy..
...and be prideful of your stellar accomplishments!.....Thank you my friend..I live to annoy, that is my calling,apparently..View attachment 21191

Jessica Chastain and Chris Pratt would demand too much money or would think horror too beneath them. Maybe not. I like those suggestions, though. My favorite is your James McAvoy suggestion. An inspired choice, I believe. Of course, he'd need to go bald (ish) for the role, but maybe the casting director won't be so literal.
This is news to me. Thanks for sharing.Chastain is friends with the director and was in his other film, Mama. She's posted more than one IT reference on Instagram so I'd say her chances are pretty good.
Paul Rudd as Bill...?
