I was talking to my youngest about the movie ‘It’ and she suggested we go see it at the drive in located about three miles from us when her boyfriend comes to visit this weekend. I checked and 'It' is playing. (The drive-in actually came in at 5th place in USA Today's 10 Best Drive-In Theaters in 2016).

Dunno, seeing ‘It’ at a drive-in theater might be rather fun, and it’s been what seems like forever since I been to one. The last time I was at a drive-in theater they still had these...

But it's $10 admission per person. That seems a bit much for the 'ambience.' On the plus side they do offer hot bologna, homemade pierogies and turkey BBQ.

If I go I think I'll hang a red balloon out the window, and let a few go flying during the flick. :)
Howdy Dio, Sounds like fun. I'd even watch one of those Liftime movies of the week if they sold pierogies! Mmm...pierogies...drool!

Watching IT through a hole of glory sounds like it would enhance the film quite a lot! Umm...what's a glory hole?

Glory holes are um...well....there's no polite way to describe them and I don't want to be graphic, probably can't provide you with a link because that would be wrong and your computer would get a virus. I will say that I am very familiar with glory hole websites.

Ooooooohhhh....sounds good. I plan to see it this weekend. I haven't been this excited about a movie in a long time! My local theatre has 2 prices...one for regular seats and one for 'D-seats'. I think d-seats rumble and move and lean and stuff. Sounds quite silly to pay extra for that. Has anyone ever tried the d-seats?
Yes - we tried these seats (8 bucks extra) when we went to see The Dark Tower. Not sure if IT has more action than DT did, but in my honest opinion, they weren't really worth it.

They DO have a great location right in the middle of the theatre however, and you can ask for them when you get to the theatre.

We went to Scotia Bank at Polo Park (formerly Silver City).

I cannot go as I have to work this weekend but I do have Monday September 11th off so might go then!

Uh..."D" seats sound like they'd have a glory hole in them. I maybe would have gone with a different name for those. lol

Never heard of em.
I had to look up "glory hole" - oh my :a11::snicker::wha:

I did feel that there were definitely some "good vibrations" going on with those seats, but I just felt sort of silly paying extra to be moved around a bit while watching the movie (more like a gimmick than anything, I think):wack:

It sounds like 'PERCEPTO'! What William Castle called his process (gimmick) of electrifying some of the seats for his film The Tingler! Hmmm. Tingler sounds a little dirty too. When did we become such hedonists?
