She'd probably have the guys who did your faulty roof make the new doghouse.Maybe you can have a new doghouse built at the same time the new deck is being built.

Dio in the doghouse, whaaaat?Glad everything is working out.
The wife wants a new deck on the other side of the swimming pool because the roof of the covered deck blocks the sun after 3pm on the deck at the pool. So she brought someone in to give us an estimate on building another deck (I guess two isn’t enough). I told her if she wants sun why not just set up some lounge chair in the yard where the sun shines? As usual I’m in the doghouse again.
Smart woman. She'd probably have the guys who did your faulty roof make the new doghouse.

I always say becoming allergic to beer is proof there's a god... and he's got a wicked sense of humor.Only REAL men are allergic to beer.
I think that luck is proof that there is a God, depends on what mood he is in.I always say becoming allergic to beer is proof there's a god... and he's got a wicked sense of humor.
Only traveled north and south of the US borders. Would like to visit Ireland and England (and of course Tahiti) sometime but the older I get the less international travel appeals to me, especially to countries where they don’t speak much English.DiO'Bolic Question for you, have you ever been to Europe or are you too afraid of the pitchforks?
An international student, I believe from Minnesota weirdly enough, at my university, asked me if I could speak another language, I said "lady, I don't even speak English properly."Only traveled north and south of the US borders. I tell people English is my second language... Bad English is my first (Ms Mod would probably concur. )An international student, I believe from Minnesota weirdly enough, at my university, asked me if I could speak another language, I said "lady, I don't even speak English properly."
Ms Mod is all about grammar and people speaking properly, if she gets that trip to Scotland that she's been planning then she might ... just might be mortified.I tell people English is my second language... Bad English is my first (Ms Mod would probably concur. )
There is a footballer who plays for Iceland who said that he doesn't even like the Icelandic summer, how is he going to handle Qatar if the World Cup happens there?Really hot midsummer here. between 25 and 30 C for several days. But thats nothing, i've read about a place in Siberia where they had 38 C this midsummer. Much more than they are used too. Me, i'm tanning a bit on the balcony, reading and talking a few walks down to the lake. It looks inviting but havent gone in yet.
I remember when I moved out for my first few years of university, I couldn't wait to go back.Good morning everyone. Hope your weekend was good.
We had a semi-busy one, had Miss Sage's birthday party Saturday. Sunday we stayed home for Fathers Day. It was nice and much needed by everyone. Evan is 95% moved out. He is off tomorrow and Thursday, so I expect he'll bring laundry over. He needs to do his thank you cards too.
Chores are done, want to settle in with my book. Big hugs and positive vibes to all.
Iceland can actually be warm in summer. Worked there for 6 weeks one summer. But this june in sweden seems to be the warmest since they begun measuring temps. We had three days with about 27-28 C and now it is to followed with three days with about 30 and up to 33 in spots. At least here such temps i june is unheard of. July is usually the hot month, the hottest week usually in the end of july. There is a footballer who plays for Iceland who said that he doesn't even like the Icelandic summer, how is he going to handle Qatar if the World Cup happens there?
