A friend asked me a question: Has King written about Halloween or witches? I have to admit, I'm drawing a blank.
In terms of witches, I recall that he has certainly written about voodoo and witchcraft. As an example, I believe "I Know What You Need," if I remember the Night Shift story correctly, involved witchcraft/voodoo. Also, the story "Dedication" (was that in Nightmares & Dreamscapes?) may have involved witchcraft, I'm not certain. Thinner I suppose you could say was about witchcraft, in a sense. There was the scene in It with the witch.
But has there been a short story or novella specifically tied to these subjects in a more direct fashion? As for Halloween, he must have written something about that, but I simply can't think of anything at the moment.
