Danny and I are leaving Phoenix now

Now we are in a strange version of our worst nightmare. Our battery just died, forcing us to pull over on the side of the highway, on a blind curve, in a completely remote area. Trucks are barreling down down the road in the pitch black. We got out of the car and headed toward the woods to call Triple A, only to be told that our membership was cancelled! I had to reinstate it. Now, help may be here in the next hour or so. Meanwhile, I put on an orange shirt so we don't meld in with the pitch black. Danny is jumping at the hedge line of the woods. There are some strange noises. An hour!!! It's freaky . . .i had the car checked before we left!!!

Me too, the tow truck driver brought us to a garage and told us to wait till seven. I have a feeling it's the alternator. There is a train . .
