Um, it's the #1 comedy on first run and re-run syndication here. Take way the canned laughter and any show looks stupid.

The writing has no wit at all. I'm not one to blow my own trumpet, but I've written funnier stuff than Big Bang theory, and I'm crap.

Plus, there are pauses in the show to allow for laughter. I'm guessing that contributes quite a bit to the loss of entertainment value. Imagine one of your favorite shows with random pauses; once the tempo of a show goes screwy, it's hard to stay fully engaged.
