All that effort to save Newt and they take a big dump on it right off. I knew then that was the death of the franchise. There were fumes left and a large hill to coast down but the heart was taken and nothing left but to bleed out.

By the way, when Siggy Weaver throws the basketball and it makes it in the hoop- it's real! They did take after take after take on that scene and the director finally said 'Enough's enough!' and said if she didn't make the next one they would use CGI so Siggy threw it and 'BAM!' it went in, but the top arc of it is out of the camera frame. But it's real, no CGI.I'm about to sit down and Alien 3...so I guess now's your time to shine.
