I watched Kick Ass 2 and Man of Steel recently. I wouldn't suggest watching either one.

@ SKMOM . . .I justed finished watching Bronson with Tom Hardy. Wow . . .good movie and there are parts that are really disturbing. Since this is based on the life of Michael Gordon Peterson, AKA Charles Bronson I can't help but feel that he didn't really get the help he needed/deserved. I'm not making excuses for his actions but it just seems as if they tried to tame him instead of help him. I also found myself liking this man. Tom Hardy really played the role.

Tom Hardy is now my favorite male actor.

Watched "Moon" with Sam Rockwell, I found it very absorbing.
Not your "run of the mill" shoot 'em up, alien in space, SF Movie. Very thought provoking about to what, and where, the current developments in genetic engineering might lead in the future.
    Well worth a look.

Last night I watched Firestarter with Drew Barrymore and George C. Scott but I did not have much sympathy for the guy who played Charlie's Dad - I hate to admit this but I was lying on the couch and fell asleep! (It was a long week)

I saw The Running Man on TV last night. Hadn't seen it in quite a while, it was better and worse than I remembered so by my logic it remains one of my favorite scifi movies.

Watched Mulholland Dr. Have to think about many things now... Strange feeling when you do not understand things. But that does not mean it's bad. The movie is really good, I liked it. I hope that I will understand some things after I think them over some more...

"Keeping Mum" an English Black Comedy starring Rowan Atkinson, Kristin Scott-Thomas, Maggie Smith and Patrick Swayze.
Very funny with Maggie Smith (for those who can't put a face to the name she is the Dowager Countess in Downton Abbey), playing a serial killing house keeper!
    I highly recommend it!

Thor 2. Awesome movie! Very funny, beautiful... Not without its own disadvantages, but really good, worth watching. And I became a fan of Tom Hiddleston

Cabin in the Woods (very disappointing) and the original Carrie. I kept putting Carrie off because I wanted to read the book first, but with the new one coming out I caved.

Last movie I watched must have been Hocus Pocus. It showed about a million times last week, and I must have watched half that many. I can't help it. It's insanely cute! And I can't get over that Binx is Tim on NCIS. Blew me away the first time I realized that.
