Work's progressing nicely on my next book. I've got the title for it, and I'm excited as all get-out about it, but I'm not prepared to reveal it just yet. And I'm not going to be posting chapters or anything, so no worry there. Just celebrating a day of good work, when it happens, or lamenting about snags when I hit 'em.
Like today. I'm cruising along, happily typing away, and it occurs to me that I don't think I have a name for the bad guy yet. I've been saying "Bad Guy" so as not to have to think about it, but I'm going to have to call this guy something.
I ran a contest not long ago to pick a new last name for my Good Guy... the name I was using is on a tv show or something, so I had to change it. (Beckett won. Not the name I would have picked, but I left it up to the public and that's the one they wanted. So that's what they get.)
Can't run another naming contest. So I get to wrack my brain and think of something. I'm the WORST at names. Truly. UGH.
*thumps head on desk*

Anyhow... I'll figure it out. Look for good news from me on the book front by summer. Hopefully.
