Generational gap is more like it. The current political climate might influence the ability of the g pop to appreciate parody.. I'm afraid the remake will go over like a balloon in church. (A lead balloon/something like that)

I was wishing my son's school would perform Rocky Horror. But, I don't think the teacher would have liked this much audience participation. And that is part of why this show was such a long-time hit. People didn't watch it...they participated. It was kind of like those murder mystery dinner theatres....without the dinner.

I don't want to be the first to comment on the remake so all I'm going to say for now is that I really liked the new intro with the movie usher. It didn't bother me at all that it was different than the original

Forgot it was on and tuned in about mid-point. Only could stand about 5 minutes before turning it off... Pretty bad if Victoria Justice in her underwear wasn’t enough to hold my attention.
It's a terrible movie, but aren't most 'camp classics'? lol The audience response is what MADE this movie. The songs are pretty jumpin' too . Not interested in the remake, but I can still watch the original with a lot of nostalgia love.

I enjoyed it! Heck, just went with weirdness that made Rocky horror picture show good.
