I have a related story. I was checking out at Big Warehouse store. The cashier could not have been much more over 20. He was going on to the other cashier how much he loved the Rocky Horror picture show. I guess it transcends generations.
Generational gap is more like it. The current political climate might influence the ability of the g pop to appreciate parody.. I'm afraid the remake will go over like a balloon in church. (A lead balloon/something like that)

I was wishing my son's school would perform Rocky Horror. But, I don't think the teacher would have liked this much audience participation. And that is part of why this show was such a long-time hit. People didn't watch it...they participated. It was kind of like those murder mystery dinner theatres....without the dinner.

I don't want to be the first to comment on the remake so all I'm going to say for now is that I really liked the new intro with the movie usher. It didn't bother me at all that it was different than the original :)
