God, a year has already passed.
The world is still an empty place without him in it.
Last time we spoke was just a few days before he was gone, he had sent me a funny meme about SK into my inbox on FaceBook and we were both hollering with laughter.
He said he misses me here on the SKMB, especially since we can post now in real time, the posts don`t need to be approved anymore and that he hopes I get my a$$ back here and have fun like in " the good old days. "
I promised I would...and then he died shorty after and I never spoke to him again here.
Which once again proves that everything you can do today, you should to today, `cause tomorrow is granted to no one.

I remember meeting Nate at the 1st Kon. His sweet shy smile, his chuckley laugh and him coming to see us at our cabin to say goodby before leaving Maine. Great guy!

Mine is red too and getting quite worn out. I do think of Nate every time I put it on.
Thinking about Nate, I,also, thought about Sharon. We lost some really wonderful family members. This is Newfoundland in memory of Sharon. I hope they both met each other in the clearing.
