Behind you
I had a dream.. I think. I had asked for a sign, after she passed. We laughed about it .

I was a mess after.

For the last few days , doors kept opening. I said HI MOM ha ha

Last night while sleeping. I kept saying... GET OFF ME! STOP.. PUPPY NO! YOU STOPPPIE NOW!

Punching pillows ... rolling around...

Sat up in bed and puppy was sleeping next to me. Opened my eyes..And

I saw my mother patting my head. Mommy. My mother came to see me.

And I chased her away

Hmmm, my thoughts on this are: if this was really your mom visiting, I think you would have felt filled with love and peace. Did you feel that way or did you feel like it was a troublesome dream? I'm sorry you feel like you chased her away - I don't know how it works, honey. I've never had an encounter with anyone I loved who has passed on. I hope you find some peace. It must be very sad to lose your mom. I've not gone through that yet.

My dreams of my mom and dad are peaceful. I'm always happy to see them there, but I have had occasional unsettling one too. Maybe you're just working out things with her that you didn't get settled in life.
Me too, DJ. My dreams of my mom and dad are always good, and when I wake I feel very content and happy. I remember the first one I had shortly after my mom died. She and Dad came in the back door of our old house, where I grew up and she never said a word. She was just smiling. I remember my dad saying "We're not born to just be put in the ground". I have never had a physical encounter when awake, though.

Me neither. My first dream after my dad died was so unbelievably real and came quite close to after he died. He was sitting next to me as i slept and telling me he was okay. I woke up actually crying. My mom is in a lot of my dreams, but it took her a long time to come to me in my dreams, and most times, she never speaks. She is just there sort of off to the side. Every once in a while she speaks, but I can't remember what she says when I wake up. Which bums me out that I can't remember!

I kinda wish I had the good things to share, but we are what we are.

My dream that I remember with my mom in it also had my dad. He was whole (he had a mildly crippled leg from an accident) and with his good humor, but quieter. We were walking around, and we visited my mom, but she was in a room to herself, didn't look up at us, muttering to herself, and generally looked unhappy.

Up/down on that dream. I've had better ones of people who have passed.
