Just a short hour ago I read your profile that suggests you retired and have begun to write. Now you have published a book. That was so fast that I'm laughing and crying. You broke the speed barrier.
I have been writing for just over a year, I have self-published one. The second is being edited and I have started another two. Can't seem to stop now....

I'm tickled for you. That's quite a lot of work. I have so much to figure out for myself, and I'm frustrated with myself. May I ask if you had to obtain any legal advice before publishing?

No legal advice, I have an editor who told me about copyright and the disclaimer but that was all. It's been a good learning experience for me and I enjoy writing, I find it a little odd to think someone, somewhere may be reading a story I conjured up in my head...

Thats one of the best feelings in the world :) Of course, now you have to contend with all sorts of voices in your head, all trying to get out and have their little moment in the sun as well.

I have never talked to an author face to face so I do not know much about how other writers think, but I suppose we all experience different thoughts and feelings....

I have characters talk to me all the time, usually out of nowhere as I'm doing something else.
I worry about myself sometimes. :smile2:
.
.
And so do I. :tounge:

Congrats on the book, btw. I don't know if it really gets easier, but at least you know you can win.

What's REALLY fun is when two or three sets of characters from different stories are all yelling at once :hammer::smiley_simmons:
