I thought I was a super fan, until I met my husband, Piet.

I appreciate that this isn't a proper Newbie intro ... and that it's, instead, a long shot ... but if anyone with a ticket (or two!) to the upcoming, sold-out, book signing in Bridgton discovers that they're unable to make it, I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know. I contacted the bookstore owner and there's no cancellation/waiting list. Hoping by some miracle that I'll be able to take Piet on a little vacation 'south' to fulfill a life-long dream of meeting his hero. Perhaps you don't have a super-fan lined up for the other ticket?? I'd be happy to make the journey with him just so he could shake Mr. King's hand.

Please keep him in mind ... thanks for your time everyone! For those going, have a fantastic time!

You'd have to check with Bridgton Books to see if they would do this but the reason they made the tickets non-transferable and require a photo ID at the time of the signing, was to prevent (as much as possible) people from selling their tickets at an inflated price solely for the purpose of making a profit from them.
