Aye, this happens over the years. I am on over eleven years and I just chill til Marsha comes back from a break. Everbody needs some time to kick back and relax.

Yes, we're back and just in time as I was on my last super-strength stop-me-from-killing-everyone pill. Nah, just kidding about that. Still, it was working my last nerve not being able to get on here and shoot the sh*t with y'all. I've been missed. I mean you've been missed. I mean.....you know what I mean.........

We're fans of "tuxedo kitties" here, too! We have two of our own, littermates, and they play, cuddle, and spat like littermates do
Good to see the Tet gathering again.
I did manage to find time to rewatch some of my favorite Nostalgia Critic eps and watched his review of the Tommyknockers. I've watched that thing about a billion times before but only last time did I realize that when the grandpa was carrying the comatose little boy to the car to take him to the hospital, the father accidentally bumps the wife lightly in the face with his hand and NC added a subtle punch sound effect.

I never had a 'tuxedo' or black cat before but when I was looking for a new fur baby I remembered years ago someone told me that black cats are the nicest cats. I've had her for 16 years now and I can honestly say that she has been the nicest and most loving cat I've ever owned (she owns me!). I had to put down my other kitty a couple of years ago so she probably gets lonely when I'm at work but I know that she wouldn't be able to handle another cat in the house at this point in her life and I don't want her remaining time with me to be miserable, so it's going to be just her and I till it's her time to go to the pasture in the sky.We're fans of "tuxedo kitties" here, too! Our black cats have always been wonderful. Even our veterinarian would comment on how relaxed and collected they were while on the exam table where most cats are unsure or not wanting to come out of their carrier. We had a black male cat that was (in my opinion) the most handsome cat we've ever owned. He wasn't drop dead gorgeous or flashy, but he was well put together with a thick, shiny coat and huge, inquisitive eyes and a heart of gold. Our current terror is a little tortie female. Sweet as pie but tough as nails, and has no sense of self preservation and (due to her poor conformation and poorly constructed frame, probably from bad nutrition as a baby) has injured herself playing several times in her short life. We've found a wonderful vet who has helped her with chiropractic adjustments and acupuncture, of all things. We took her in a few months ago unable to walk, and 48 hours later we had to lock her in a room because she was playing rough again!
We really have a hard time deciding to bring a new baby into the house whenever we have an old one around. A few have had the personalities in which a new, lively little sprout really woke them up and took years off their lives, and others have the opposite personality and consider young children of their own species to be pests. I have a lot of respect for anyone who is attuned to their elderly pets needs and does what needs to be done to ensure their golden years are happy, stress-free, and full of love as well as getting all the attention they deserve. Babies are fun, but the old ones are so special.
