Thanks for all the kind words and well-wishes, everyone! We are so excited! Both my wife and I were raised in small crowded houses without a garage or much of a yard, so we've come a long way! And the girls are even more excited than we are!
Yes it's pronounced MISS-ka, that was the name her former owner gave her, she said it means "little bear" in Russian. We live in western Pennsylvania.
Oh ok...I didn't know if it was a Dark Tower reference to 'ka'. Pennsylvania is beautiful country. Kudos on the new house, it's very nice.
