Over the last few days I've watched coverage of Mandela's passing and one thing that has brought me the most joy is the way the South Africans have lifted their voices in song. They are celebrating his life instead of mourning his death. I'm watching a 48 hour special about his life now and although I followed his journey through the years I am still amazed at his dignity. His heart was true and it lead him without hate.

He was strong and he had grace.
