so uk schools are shutting down tomorrow (friday) that means my youngest will be missing his activities (swimming, horseriding, ball--pit, ect) he has no clue about whats going on in the real world, all he will know is that he will be getting cranky and bored and has lots of energy and no way to burn it off.
im gonna be frazzled after two weeks of him at home with us.

Is horse riding in schools just a thing in the UK?

just to add my son in in E.P. - enhanced provision in primary school. its the class for children with special needs. my son is autistic. and the teachers encourange all sorts of things such as swimming, going for town or woodland walks, horse riding sessions etc.
so the horse riding isnt a part of the schools curriculum, just an activity for the ep class.

altough has has no awareness of current issues he knows that he is stuck at home during what are normally school days, and hes getting upset and very cranky. he likes the freedom of getting out and about. it breaks my heart when he sits and starts sobbing from boredom. he has toys and we have movies and such like, but its the getting out of the house hes missing.
