Observations from the pool yesterday:
1) Boob jobs are either getting cheaper or more expected. I saw more 40+ women with round boobs, right under their chins, than nature ever created.

2) Sunburned babies? At least 6, including a tiny infant :( C'mon, people. Parenting 101.

3) Fat is not catching. There was no need to leave a 10' protective zone around those heavy girls.

4) Sex in a public pool might have sounded like a good idea, teens, but ICK. Do you realize how many leaky toddlers were all around you? And you thought you were sneaky? Staring around you like a startled raccoon didn't help.

5) Tattoos. Wow, there are some really bad ones out there.

That is all.

I'd be more worried about how it would look or be perceived at certain jobs... but, I think they are fine. I'm not sure why they are so popular, but, I'm sure there were things I like that my parents didn't understand either!

Gull-darn chipmunks. Got this one, little bugger was plantin' stuff a weekend or two when I was doing the garden...planted yellow squash that I forgot to mention. How thoughtless and hateful of me, alas. But chippy's plants are comin' up faster than mine. I'm going to let them go, see what comes...I'm thinkin cukes or maybe watermelon...see, he...or she...they're small is what I'm sayin'...critter been headin in to the old dog kennel, where I had a blue jay or two stockin seed...for the chipmunk I guess...who is busy plantin all that stuff. Why bother, right? Just put the seed out in the dog kennel, turn the garden over, and let him have at it. New concept in gardening. Yay! Go chipmunks!

yeah, I was torqued off at the little rascal last week was it? I'm tilling five feet away, he's digging like there's no tomorrow, cheeks full. Saw him again...yesterday I think it was...he was weeding or something, has a nice crop coming along. I'll raid his garden! Should give a hats-off to the blue jays, too...don't know where they came up with the seed, but that's cheaper than Wal-Mart.

You know how you have a 'funny bone'? I wonder if there's such a thing as a 'teary bone'? I think so, because every time I listen to John Mayer, I get teary. Not because he sucks (he doesn't), or because I have a crush (I think he's sort of a douche and should probably never speak in public again); it's something with his voice. Weird, right?
