You just made it sound so idyllic - the man hard at work at his job while the little lady stays home. It reminded me of the old days - yes I AM that old
I'll tell you what's funny:
I re-read my original post when you quoted it and thought (as I often do), "Well, I could have said it better than that."
Quite frankly, the idea that the girls are at work, too, is one of the best things about what the people who raised me called "Women's Liberation," as far as I'm concerned. What I
meant was that we all have to come home at some point, and if the ladies would rather work with us (instead of working with each other and then coming home to bytch about their distaff colleagues), that's perfectly fine with me.
Now I'm going to get out of here quickly . . . before I get skinned alive.
