So, y'all know I've had lots going on. To top it off, I am official on jury-duty alert. I called on Friday night and wasn't needed but now have to call back tonight. Yeay!
And, we've seen a very large, cat sized possum in our back yard a few times. Hubby sent me this picture yesterday afternoon.
This is NOT the one I have been seeing! Great, it's freaking Possum Kingdom in my backyard!
Good news is, we found out that Animal Control will come and cart off the critter once you have trapped it. This little guy took a ride in a dog crate. My evil plan is to run out and yell at the big one next time I see it, so it will pass out and I can put the trash can on top of it. It's good to have a plan.

I have a friend who was house sitting for a lady who was out of town. The lady also fed an army of cats, so my friend was asked to feed the cats as well. The cats were all strays, and you never knew which ones would show up for supper each night.
One night, as the cats were eating, she noticed a newcomer to the party, and expressed to her husband, "Oh, we have a new kitty tonight".....that's when the possum turned around and grinned at her.......
