It's hard to even focus on other things right now. All I hear in my head is my doctor saying 'biopsy could be benign could be something worse'

Got my results from the biopsy on my throat. The news could be better but not horrible either.I have a reflux disorder called Gerd and I have Gastritis in the stomach area.

That is something treatable! Take the meds they give you as the damage the GERD causes can be very bad. I take 10mg of omeprazole every day and have for years. Good luck!

You will likely be heavily sedated or possibly even under general anaesthetic. Try not to let your mind take you there until you have all of the information from your health professionals, I know it is hard--but for your over-all health, staying calm and positive is the very best thing you can do for your body and mind right now.

Me too - Kingfamilyfan - it's a good thing you have been diagnosed so now you can start taking a proton pump inhibitor and you won't get the awful heartburn any more. If it is not treated with medication it can lead to esophageal cancer so I'm happy for you.
