Just wondering, does anyone here watch Ray Donovan on Showtime? The second season starts tonight. I think it's a great show with strong performances by Liev Schreiber and Jon Voight. Can't wait!

I would for sure watch it if we had Showtime. I like crime/mysteries and it looks like its character driven I've been watching Murder in the First - it's a new crime show that follows Major Crimes on TNT. It's interesting but I'm still not really sure how much I like it lol

Aww, I'm sorry! It is very character-driven! Jon Voight's character is absolutely crazy. In fact, the whole family is whacked, lol. As I said, the performances are really great

Yes, Tom Felton is in it and he's good! not good as in a good guy lol, he's a surprisingly good actor
The only problem with Murder in the First is that its a continuing story, you can't just jump in. Only 3 episodes have aired so far and TNT repeats episodes so you can catch up

I watch it - I fancy Liev - he's so hot, but such an a$$ - my favorite. I have Sunday's episode recorded but so far haven't had time to watch. Did you watch? Was it good? I can't remember the cliffhanger from last season.

I like when TV networks do those "spin-off" commercials that involves their shows. I think Showtime also did one with Homeland and Dexter. USA has a bunch of them.

I finally watched it - always a pleasure. Like you, I don't like his whiny a$$ kids. My favorite characters are Avi and Lena - I think Katherine Moening is outstanding. I would love to be so cool. I want her job.
With dramas that involve families, I find myself now can't standing the kids. Just to go off topic a little bit, but for example in Homeland, they focused A LOT on Brody's daughter, Dana, and she was whiny and making bad decisions. Did not understand how that was central to the story. Give me more Carrie, Brody and Saul, please, haha. I guess in Ray Donovan--yes, it's about Ray's work as a Hollywood fixer and his family-and just showing more conflict for Ray?
I agree, Lena is amazing! Love the way she handled that singer LOL. That whole bit was funny, imo.
Ray Donovan is kind of boring me this season. Anyone else? I still like Lena and Avi, and the old man who lives across the hall from Mickey. But the rest of it.... I don't know if I'll last another season.
