I like the first season better so far, but nonetheless, still enjoying this season. Just can NOT stand Abby and the kids. Knowing me, I'll stick around for next season!

Yes - I can't stand the stories of Abby and the kids. They're really such an afterthought in Ray's life. I'd much prefer some flashbacks to what really went down with his "true love" and how they all ended up in CA. And if there needs to be side stories, I'd like them to be Lena's and Avi's. Avi cracked me up with those tears last night, and Lena's all like "I'll tell him!".
Abby's affair I think is so unnecessary! You are spot on with the flashbacks and why they moved to CA--would love to see this, too!
That scene between Lena and Avi in the car was my favorite!

I watched. I was a little bored and disappointed-maybe it was just my mood though. I like this guy- he was on Deadwood with Ray's wife - she was Trixie on DeadwoodView attachment 10935. I loved the first 2 seasons of that show, then it lost me a bit.
Anyhow, I'm hoping it picks up a little. I still think Lena is the coolest chic on the block
