Back in the mid 90's I ended up on my backside for a month. Dialing around for a talk show - radio - and heard the name Rex Stout. I knew he was the father of Nero Wolf but not much more. Sent a trusty scout to the local used book store; success, managed to find a couple of Nero Wolf thrillers. The dam broke. Over the next two months or so I ended up reading all of them.
The other day I'm studying on Character development, both mine and my story's, when I seen Rex Stout's name on a forum someplace. The light came on and two hours later I found the cardboard box filled with Nero Wolf.
All this to say, I'm reading Rex Stout books now.
