R.I.P. George Kennedy. I grew up watching him in lots of movies.
was really good in Cool Hand Luke, think he said he lied and stole stuff, but that he loved his neighbor, and his wife.. LOL
George was one class act! I'm sorry to see him go.
Earthquake and Airplane are the two that come to my mind first. Thought I have enjoyed his work in many films.
I just saw him in an episode of Gunsmoke the other day.

...he was one of those actors that seemed like your buddy from next door that somehow ended up on a movie or TV screen....could always count on a solid performance from "Bumper".....
He was also very good in the Eiger Sanction,and Lost Horizon..what a great actor..
RIP Mr. Kennedy. They don't make them like you anymore. A fine actor.
