Man, I have only read the first book. I'm glad there are a slew of others ahead of me.I just finished Freedom of the Mask. Excellent! The depiction of Newgate and Whitechapel was rather depressing, but in an entertaining sort of way! And things are starting to heat up it seems! Can't wait for the next one!
I envy you. I'm not much into series books, but each of these is wonderfully written. I'm not much of a rereader either, but I've read Speaks the Nightbird twice. Matthew and the magistrate are two of my favorite characters.Man, I have only read the first book. I'm glad there are a slew of others ahead of me.
Kindle? Nook? Any other digital readers you might have?I wish NZ had better access to his books... they're quite expensive on the book depository site and this is the only place I've been able to find them.
Nah, I don't have anything like that.Kindle? Nook? Any other digital readers you might have?
Me neither!Nah, I don't have anything like that.

And I could download to my phone probably, but... I keep falling asleep when I read and my phone though quite light, seems to hurt a lot more than a book when it smacks me in the face.Me neither!

I still won't let my kids stand close to a microwave.LOL
And you don't have to worry about radiation from actual books either!
I haven't used a microwave in over ten years! (I guess my brain is scrambled for other reasons. )I still won't let my kids stand close to a microwave.

You know that you can download for free the Kindle reader to a pc (and probably a phone), right? It's FREE. Best word ever. FREE!Me neither!
I did this a few years ago when Marsha pointed it out, but for some reason I really struggle with using a computer for book reading. I seem to put off the reading and make excuses to myself, it's probably the fall-asleep thing again. Reading makes me sleepy... I've been known to 'sleep click' my mouse on FB.... who knows what I'll end up 'liking'?You know that you can download for free the Kindle reader to a pc (and probably a phone), right? It's FREE.
