Saturday "To Do" List

I have not read all of 1922 but I like it so far - MUCH better (or interesting to me anyway) than my last read!

Am anxious to finish it (not dreading it or hoping it will get better) ...

All the stories in FDNS are great.

1. Pick up a birthday cake for my niece.
2. Find a copy of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (I have to read it for class next week).
3. Review some proofs of a photo collage project I'm working on.
4. Get a birthday card for my niece.
5. Meet up with one of my cousins for dinner / beers.
6. Midnight screening of Blade Runner.
7. Pass out for a few hours and head to momma SwiftDog's for Easter dinner and niece's birthday celebration with the fam.

Ummm today, well ....
grocery shopping
laundry
by then it will be time for chocolate Need that energy boost you know.
It's is First Blood movies all day (yeah) so I am going to watch them (all of them) and make a
pork stirfry for dinner and for dessert what else.....chocolate!
NOTE to myself: put more chocolate on my grocery list.

All done except for dinner and Blade Runner! I even managed to squeeze in some clean up around my place and helping clean up some of the winter damage at my Mom's.

No caffeine. I don't drink coffee and I gave up soda for Lent.

I like hot tea with (liquid) honey and some milk in it - I find it a nice change of pace from coffee all the time.

 

[Grandpa]

Get work done.
Get yard stuff and try to rehab the yard.
Repot the avocado plant.
Change the fluorescents in the house that need a ladder for it.
Clean out car, completely.
Run to grocery store and get stuff for tomorrow.
Run to liquor store and get stuff for tomorrow.
Spend time with Grandma.

Missions accomplished.

I think I may have done 3 things yesterday! No maybe 4... slacker!

Today.

Grandma went to her shift. Clean kitchen.
Start up banana-blueberry-chocolate chip bread.
Start up pastel Jell-O shots (peach Jell-O with peach vodka, and they were yummy).
Get office work done.
Color Grandma's hair. She did a reciprocal aesthetic thing for me that we won't talk about.
Take nap. (I haven't slept completely well lately.)
Start up ham, baked potatoes, fried onion/corn dish.
Have Easter egg hunt with grandkids (I'm the photographer), serve up dinner, and engage in raucous conversation with Family for three or four hours. That part was easy.
Clean up. Between us, and our shifts for TV shows, we got it done.

A good day.

Go to big used book store on Sutherland Street
Then go to medium size used book store on Springfield Road

Note to Myself:
Buy a day pass when I get on the bus.
