School shooting in Spokane

The local news team had interviewed one of the students and he said that the shooter had been sending him snapchats of himself watching school shooting documentaries and had also given him one of the notes, but he didn't 'want to ask' the shooter about it right then. Some of the kids had turned over the notes to their parents and a guidance counselor. The notes apparently were given a couple of weeks ago near the beginning of the school year. The shooter had shown up that day wearing a large backpack that many students noticed and felt strange about but again no one did or said anything about it. Someone obviously dropped the ball.
This is so sad. Gun control...just saying.
I want to start wearing a t-shirt that says:
'Everyone except felons have the right to own a gun but no one has the right to live.'

Apparently he was bullied. He had access to his father's safe where the guns were.

I love you, too, Scott, but that won't change how I feel about guns. I know that you are a responsible gun owner and I have no problem with you owning a gun. It's just like Pit Bulls to me- I don't like or trust them. There are responsible owners of PB's but then there are those that teach them to hurt and kill. There's been way too many shootings by the lunatic fringe. It needs to stop. Somehow.

Seems he handed numerous people notes saying he was going to do something that might get him killed, and shared a school shooting documentary with his best friend, and nobody said anything!

It's really funny, I actually saw a snake in the yard today! This has happened perhaps once per decade in nearly 50 years! It was a tiny water snake less than a foot long, slithering right in front of me as I crossed the back yard! I immediately thought of you, only in terms of protecting the snake from you, as these are harmless little things which eat bugs.
