...beautiful!...especially when in my mind's eye, I always visualize Russia piled butt high in snow.....

Hey :) These photos were taken between June and August, so the average day-time temperature was about 90 F. I think you'll be taken aback, coz you've imagined it the wrong way :) The summer at the central Russia is extremely hot. So hot as cold winter we get after :)
I'll keep posting some of my photos were taken in Russia, if you enjoyed it!

...please do!....I thought Ohio here in the US had extremes in temp ranges, but that has us beat by a wide margin-never knew it was that high on the Fahrenheit scale.....

Huh, never heard that stereotype before! Is it yea really one of US beliefs about ex-USSR? :) If so - then i didn't ever face a bigger junk! :alien:
...it is a stereotype, and one of which I know is unfair...I have seen photos of very beautiful Russian ladies....it was just a bit of levity to have you post some pics.....

I've catched this joke-alike meaning :) Of course it's not fair, just believe me. Is it permitted to post an external links here?

Hope i've partly broke some of your stereotypes about Russia :)

Yes, you have. I always thought it was a bleak and cloudy country with extreme cold and no summer to speak of.
Seeing your posts really is terrific.
BTW I had a bottle of Russian vodka given to me years ago. Wow, that stuff really packs a punch! We drank it as boilermakers.
What can I say, it was the 60's. :)
