I see a load of threads floating around here for links to peoples blog sites with some crackin' stories just waiting to be unearthed. If its okay with the mods - does anyone fancy sharing a trail to their works with like minded folks who enjoy writing and reading for a hobby. Might get a good bit of feedback for writing that needs a bit of tweeking ?

Free advice is always a bonus eh !

It makes it easier to find links if they are in one place doncha think ?

Catch Of The Day… | Fantasy Fiction.

Very entertaining SHEEMIEE. Being a life long fisherman, I am always critical of these type of writings as some are laden with a plethora of fishing faux pas. Yours was not.

Frank reminded me of myself and I often wondered if killing all those fish in the past may catch up with me as well. I too am dedicated to revisiting my spot every year, regardless of life's curve balls, mishaps, births, deaths, ect.

I had great surreal visuals from your nicely descriptive writing but anticipated Franks fate from the get go.

Another very short fish story. The only thing scary about it is how boring it may be.

Gotta give it something at the end leif - did it end up sizzling over the bbq ? Served up to the family? Did your dad look over the family dining table and give you a wink ?

What about you own kid - did he catch his first fish with you ? It might be worth tying that in with your first experience to round your story off.

Thanks Sheemiee. I hear ya. Just trying to test my brain/thought process a little and see if I can build on it. Funny you mentioned the ending. I removed it before posting and it did involve my dad.....good observation. These little stories are basically matter of fact with a little description. Just dipping in a toe or two.
