I don't know if King wrote the -- is epigraph the term I want? -- to Pet Sematary (if I recall, the one about here are some books people wrote about what they did, and here are some books by people who did things but kept quiet on the subject, something like that), and I don't have it in front of me, but I think there is a line that went something like "Death is a mystery, burial a secret."
