Slapped Cheek Disease

...dear god...and bless them all....
I had never heard of this disease. How heartbreaking for this poor woman, and what a difficult choice she had to make.
Being a father of 4, thank goodness I have been spared anything even approaching that kind of situation. But I can't even imagine how the Mother was coping, throughout her pregnancy. Courage and strength abound in that woman.

Fifth's disease (Parvovirus B-19) is usually mild for kids /adults .... causing a face rash/joint pain/fever .... goes away on its own. My heart goes out to this Mom that had to make this kind of decision .....
so sad. My child had slap cheek when she was little.Went away quickily. What a hard decision for her to make.
