I was born at Paddington Women's Hospital( which is no longer there) which was opposite Victoria Barracks. Grew up in Darlinghurst, Sydney, and later Erskineville, Sydney.

And an old house in Hallunda, the suburb in which i live. It is closed during winter but works as a cafe during summer. It lies about 10 minutes walk from where i live, in a little forest. It was built during the early 1800-hundreds. Except for letting it have running water it is much as it was then. Originally it was a farmer working for the big landowner who lived in the nearby mansion that lived there. Myself live in a rather boring 8-storey building built during the 70-ties.

Yes - I hope the other girls don't take the dates for vacation I am hoping for - of course it is still not sure when in the summer it will take place.

The House of Refuge was built in 1876 and is the only one of 10 sailors' sanctuaries still standing along Florida's southeast coast. When cargo ships from South America, Portugal and other places crashed onto rows of reefs offshore, their crews showed up on the beaches looking for food and a place to sleep.
Keepers living in these "lifesaving stations" -- built every 26 miles from Miami to Daytona Beach -- gave them shelter.
