Songs You Think Are...Annoying.

Today's radio is just killing songs. They play all of them so many times per day, it renders nearly every song annoying even if they weren't annoying to begin with. I mean, aren't there some songs we haven't already heard a thousand times? It won't kill us to play some other songs in the artists back catalog.

Relatable, my local classic rock station seems to only know about maybe only 2-300 different songs, one time they played Yes' "Owner of a lonely Heart" twice within an hour

....the broadcast group I work for-their Classic Rock format is much the same.....no depth to the catalogs at all....that's why some of the SiriusXM channels are better with a deeper dive into songs that don't get constant airplay....having said that, any length of time listening will still show a marked lack of rotation on the tunes.....

Yeah, I don't think I've ever heard a Doors song on my local station, any artist they do play will just play their most popular songs,

...ours does include the Jim and the boys, but only about 4 of the "hits".....

The only Beatles songs mine play are from "Abbey Road" and it's just "come together" with the occasional "Octopus's Garden" nothing from "The Beatles (White Album)" which I think is the best album in rock'n'roll history. The only ZZ Top songs they play are "Sharp Dressed Man" and "Legs"

I swear I'm not trying to be a pretentious purist or anything stupid like that, but I honestly can't stand most of today's big artists. I actively hate Adele, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Train, Maroon 5, Racoon and all the other whiny buggers I don't know the names of. Other than that, I am highly allergic to U2, The Corrs and many Dutch artists such as Guus Meeuwis, Marco Borsato, Nick & Simon, Jan(tje) Smit, Volumia and many others... Some places are playing this radio station called 100% NL, and it's TORTURE.

WXPN 88.5 FM :: Public Radio from the University of Pennsylvania

Best station ever. It will go from Jimi Hendrix to Dolly Parton in a moment. And they have sleepy Sundays.
I've heard so many artists that are now mainstream before they were.

Truly the worst, annoying song, stays in ur head forever. Thanks to my son who exposed me to this!! Be warned..

What year does your son think this is? 2009?
