If you don't eat and drink at the same time you can avoid the heartburn from hell. And pick one song, or lullaby to sing to your baby in utero --that song WILL calm your baby down after it is born. Nothing is the greatest catalyst for your growth as a human being than having children.

Sorry Jacquie, I had to remove your poetry as we don't allow members to post original material on the MB. If you would like to PM the poem to Shasta, that would be fine. :)
(P.M's can be accessed in the profile area and are called "Conversations".)

Thats ok FlakeNoir... I didnt know. But I will try to send PM to Shasta the poem... I wrote that when I was 18. Makes me feel really old now... LOL. Its about as good as my writing gets lol.

Hope you had a great vacation!

I didn't even notice!!! But if I had, there's no way I would have been mad! Especially not at you!

Nausea is kicking in big time.......:baffle:

I keep saying I want someone to be pregnant with me!! So glad I have you!!!

Nausea? Me too............although mine might be from last night's dinner...........

Not to fear though. It doesn't last forever and you'll feel like a million bucks in no time! Just remember to keep hydrated and try to get something to eat.

It's hard but we can do it!!

Okay - a bit early but this is what you have to look forward to. I remember looking like I had swallowed a watermelon (just before I gave birth).

Don't forget the sausage fingers & fat feet, if you get bad water retention like I did! I was EN-ORMOUS!!

But still its one of the most magical times of your life, words can't describe how miraculous pregnancy & birth are - its amazing what is going on inside there & how your body takes over to grow this little tiny being, and then when you finally get to meet him or her.....WOW! Just THE best feeling in the world :) i cant even describe the love & wonder that you feel (maybe a little bit scared too, but that doesn't last long). It took me 45 minutes to put my daughters first babygrow on, I was terrified of hurting her .

As most of you know I have been trying! And I just found out a few days ago that I am pregnant and yesterday that I'm four weeks along!

Very exciting. And terrifying.

I know some people wait until three months to spill the beans but I just couldn't do it.

Someone made an announcement (without my permission) on the loudspeaker at work yesterday, so I figured if that can happen then I might as well tell my SKMB family!
Congrats, Shasta! Very, very cool news. :)
