South Korea Ferry

Just wanted to send out my thoughts and best wishes to all those associated with the tragic Ferry accident in Korea.

It's scary to think that most of those unfortunate to not make it out were round about my age, and shows how lucky we all are to not be in the situation some of those in Korea are.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery. RIP.

...another in a long line of incidents of tragedy that leaves me questioning the existence of God...coz there sure don't seem to have been enough miracles to balance the scales...

I was very surprised (and appalled) at the official misinformation that was happening with this tragedy. Early on, The South Korean Coast Guard claimed they had rescued a bunch of people that they had not rescued. That's a terrible thing to do the families that are waiting for news.

Prayers go out to the families and friends of those aboard the ferry. May all who perished rest in peace.

I heard there will be charges against the captain and some of the crew.

The captain was one of the first rescued. He also gave the order for people to stay where they were.

I wonder if he was dressed as the captain when saved.

It is devastating... and to know that your children had been told to 'stay put'.. and probably did what they were told--and so became trapped. absolutely heartbreaking.

Am touched by the honor and care given to the recovered bodies. Those who stand in the honor guard have tears with each new recovery. My heart aches for the parents. May justice be served.

Devastating for the victims and families. Just don't have the words.

Enraging if the stories are true regards the captain and maybe the crew. Have the words, but they're not appropriate here, and let's wait for the facts to come out.
