I LOVED Pennsylvania!! Beautiful part of the US for sure. But I did not see ONE possum there. Here I have them in my pool and in Oklahoma, my garbage cans almost nightly, but nada in PA.Hoss should stay away from Pennsylvania then. Possums are a common sight laying in the road here.
Caution... Graphic Imagery!
But man he looks a lot like his granddad!I met Hank III. He was opening for the Reverend Horton Heat in Boston a ways back. Talked to Hank at the bar for a good 15 minutes . I had no idea who he was until he got on stage!
Booooo! I can't see the picture...
Hoss is the man!

They're all over the place in the Poconos. There is a battle of wits going on between a possum and myself for about a month, and I'm losing. It comes into the back yard at night (gets inside the fenced part), digs for grubs and leave me a stinky deposit daily. Haven't been able to catch it in the act yet. Frustrating... and am about to go all Carl Spackler on him.I LOVED Pennsylvania!! Beautiful part of the US for sure. But I did not see ONE possum there. I have a friend that used a motion activated sprinkler system to scare them off. worked pretty well for him and was a pretty cheap solution. I've also heard that coyote/wolf urine will keep them away. I have never looked into it, but I suppose you can buy it or a simulated version somewhere. Or harvest it yourself, but that might not be much fun...They're all over the place in the Poconos. There is a battle of wits going on between a possum and myself for about a month, and I'm losing. Groundhogs have recently been filling up the roadsides this spring, and lots of whitetail deer have been hit recently. I also have noticed a number of red fox by the wayside.
What... you don't recommend a little C-4 shaped into the likeness of the harmless squirrel and the friendly rabbit? "And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior intelligence and superior firepower. And that's all she wrote."I have a friend that used a motion activated sprinkler system to scare them off. worked pretty well for him and was a pretty cheap solution. He looks just like his grandpa to me. His country stuff sounds a lot like him, too. It's cool that you met him. I've heard he's pretty friendly.I met Hank III.
