I was able to view some evidence that shed some light on some correspondence between Mr. King and Pamela Sargent in the late 80's. **Pamela Sargent was also a character he used in his book, Tommyknockers. Anyone out there know anything of this?

No, I think he did get his phone number in there somewhere so Steve called him back.
No, the machine (damn machines even then were trying to take over Ahnold's world!) cut him off before he could say 'I'll be back!'

Wouldn't surprise me if they had some communications, they were both authors in the cat-themed short story book "Magicats 1"
