When they first told us about this about 3 weeks ago, we were panicking because the dates they gave us were Sept. 9 and 10 which would have meant having to bow out of the event with Lee Child. It was a big sigh of relief when we learned he didn't have to be there on the 9th for the dinner and the ceremony itself was on the 10th. Phew!!
