Well, Red Lobster's sales spiked 33% after a mention.

Beyoncé’s new single “Formation” trended on social media as soon as it was released on Saturday (Feb. 6). The Beyhive and celebrities alike joined the “Formation” conversation with their reactions to the song, which quickly shot up to No. 1 on the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart, and its accompanying video.

I don't even know what was being advertised. The commercials were as disappointing as the halftime show and the game itself.
I'm tired of the media bashing Cam. I'm tired of the Broncos bashing Cam. I'm tired of the whole thing.

I've never watched a minute of football, but I did see this Cam Newton fellow. Sundrop, Cam Friday?

This is NOT meant to be a sidewise dig at Panthers fans. NOT.

The Superbowl party continues on in Denver when they had the Broncos parade. Local estimates were that a million people attended. I suspect there's some observational bias going into that, but still, I was watching the television while ellipticaling (sorry for verbing a noun) at my downtown club, and the crowd was huge. Huge.

However silly sports may seem to some people (including me), let me just say that it was a completely wonderful to see people going out of their minds with joy. It was a beautiful day in Colorado, the players and coaches were enthusiastic on their fire trucks, the crowd was nuts with delight, and the whole area just turned out for unabashed celebration.

No violence reported that I know of. Lots of work and school truancies. Public transportation was overloaded. 17th Street, Broadway, and the Civic Center were overloaded massive zones of orange. Just a day of unbridled elation. In polarized times, it was wonderful to see a whole region come together just to share happiness.

I always knew there was a reason that I like Sundrop.......
