Hi! So, I'm a technological idiot, and I could use some help.

I usually visit the SKMB on my iPhone, and all the pictures I post are taken from Google. I've been saving pictures off Google images for years without a problem, but now they seem to have taken that option away.

My question is this; is Google doing this to everyone, regardless of the device used? Or are they picking on Apple people? And is there a way around this new irritation, or do I just have to get used to not sharing images on here anymore? Thanks!

I'd never done it before as I don't usually use my phone for that sort of thing. When I jut did a test copy/paste for a Google image on my iPhone, it just posted a link not an actual image. Maybe someone else knows how to do this, though.

I had to try because I've never done that from my phone before. I have an iPhone, and that butterfly is an image I got from Google, so it worked for me. I hope you figure out what the problem is! :)

I've never had an iphone, but I save pics off Google all the time with my Note 4.
Just tried it and no problem.
Is it all pics, or just pics owned by certain sites? I've had a problem saving content in the past from certain sites (usually design-based).

It's been any image I try to save, for about a week now. One day, I was saving stuff without a problem. The next day, I couldn't save anything.

I have a laptop, I just rarely get the chance to use it. My son is still pretty attached to me, so my phone has been awesome to keep my mind occupied while he's sleeping or eating or whatever. (and when I can put him down, I have housework to catch up on. I can't justify computer time when I can get chores done.) It's small enough to hold in one hand, and I've gotten pretty good at typing with my thumb. I still refuse to get e-books though....you'll pry my bound books from my cold, dead fingers. ;;D

Oh, and if it helps, I have last year's model. I rarely update anything, as I've lost important data by updating before. And I basically never allow my info to be shared. I like my privacy, and try to keep as much of my personal info off the web as possible. Which is hard to do in this day and age! You have to put your SSN down to blow your freaking nose anymore.
