This is a well-written new book from Michel Faber. An English pastor is choosen to travel to a distant planet and minister to the aliens. He has to leave behind his wife. It sounds like sci-fi but is more about religion and human nature. A bit of a slow burn novel that may bore the best seller crowd, but a very good book. "Under the Skin" is another interesting one from Faber. They recently made it into a weird Scarlett Johansson movie that most people either love or hate.

I would probably enjoy it. Thanks
