...this particular bug is highly virulent...and the flu shot hasn't been effective, due to the fact that it wasn't designed to hit back against this little critter...they try to brew those injections to battle the most likely strains to be a problem, but this one slipped the noose....

I have been lucky this year (knock on wood) - haven't had the flu shot since we had the H1N1 scare a few years back and so far - still have not gotten the flu this year yet!
